WORLD ELDER ABUSE AWARENESS DAY - 15 JUNE 2018
Across the world people are preparing for World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) - will you join them?
On 15th June each year, in each nation of the UK, people come together to send out a clear message. The abuse of older people will not be tolerated. We want an end to the assault, neglect, abuse and intimidation of our older generation.
The message resonates right around the world and does make a difference!
In the UK we have care providers, health providers, council teams, doctors, nurses, solicitors, police and firefighters, schools, colleges, voluntary groups and members of the public, all joining in.
Will you help too?
