Monday 9 June- Adult Protection Special Newsletter - focusing on Older People- this will go out electronically and be shown on plasma screens at One Stop shops, also printed copies will be given out at seminars and information stalls

Tuesday 10 June- Visits by Adult Protection Team to local homes and Day centres to raise awareness

Wednesday 11 June- Stall in Whitechapel Market

Thursday 12 June- Visits by Adult Protection to Dignify Project to Mile End Hospital - There will be a a stall and 3/4 Seminars to raise awareness of Elder Abuse/Race Hate Crime and a new project 'Dignify' at Toynbee Hall about Elder Abuse

Friday 13 June - Visits by Adult Protection to Royal London Hospital with a stall and 3/4 seminars.

Wear Purple at work day - Staff will be asked to donate a £1.00 to wear purple. Also a stall in foyer of Mulberry Place, Tower Hamlets Town Hall

Sunday 15 June- Inter Faith Event - will take place at Royal Foundation of St Katherine's, Limehouse from 2.00pm-5.00pm - All faith leaders are coming together to hold an inter-faith service marking WEAAD with older people from their faith communities attending, together with other local older people from hostels, day centres and sheltered housing schemes. After the service, balloons will be released with a tag card given details of Adult Protection Support for adults who have been abused. There will be stalls run by representatives from Action on Elder Abuse, Age Concern, Alzheimers Society, Dignify, and Carer's UK. Tea and cakes on the lawn of St Katherine's from 3.00pm-5.00pm
