Conferences: elder abuse 

A major activity for AEA is hosting conferences on issues related to elder abuse and the adult protection agenda.  Throughout each year we organise conferences on specific themes (e.g. medication control and abuse) or about specific services (e.g. sheltered housing), all intended to highlight specific issues or increase the knowledge and awareness of practitioners.

In addition we organise a major two day residential conference each March, which focuses on key activities.

We also regularly attend and speak at conferences organised by other organisations, either focusing on our knowledge and experiences of elder abuse in particular, or on our wider knowledge of the adult protection field.  Email or telephone 020 8765 7000 if you wish to book one of our speakers.
